Vice President Kamala Harris picks up a copy of Mingus' Let My Children Hear Music

For Small Business Day, she had gone to a local DC record store Home Rule Records. Video shows her first question to staff was: “Do you have any Mingus?” Then she showed off her purchase to reporters outside: Let My Children Hear Music (1972). “Really one of the greatest jazz performers ever.”

We are so grateful for the shout-out and for the positive comments from Mingus fans! (And yes Mingus Big Band is available for inaugurations!)
