Walter White
The first sound to hit your ear as you enter the club... reaching all the way from the very back bandstand wall... might be Walter. With confidence you could easily describe him as one of the greatest lead players on the globe. Kind and expressive, powerful and free, Walter has a strength and agility that inspires trumpeters worldwide. In addition to his history with Mingus Big Band, he's been heard with Bob James, Maynard Ferguson, Dave Holland, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and Arturo Sandoval. He leads his own small and large ensembles, including the Walter White Big Band. Walter plays all MBB trumpet books, usually covering lead.

Anthony Fazio Music
Anthony is a young and powerful presence on the large ensemble scene. Cutting his teeth with Mingus Big Band, he holds it down both in New York and abroad, performing with the ensemble at major festivals around the world including North Sea, Umbria, and Alhambra. He is a Rutgers graduate where he participated in The Mingus Project at Mason Gross School of the Arts, and has since developed a successful teaching studio of his own. He's also shared the stage with Captain Black Big Band, Cab Calloway Big Band, and productions on Broadway. He is a published author of "Get a Grip" - a concerted method for mental and physical development for trumpet players. Anthony is a regular on the MBB lead trumpet book.
