Mingus 100: 14th Annual Mingus Festival celebrates 100 Years of Charles Mingus!
Produced by Let My Children Hear Music / The Charles Mingus Institute, in partnership with The School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School's College of Performing Arts, and The Django at The Roxy Hotel, the Annual Charles Mingus Festival takes place on February 19th & 20th, 2022, based in NYC.
Now in it's 14th year, Mingus Festival was founded by Sue Mingus to empower young musicians -- events typically include a full weekend of in-person activity for high school music students: films, jams, workshops, and a showcase of jazz talent from across the country. Outstanding Soloists have the opportunity to perform with professionals in the important tradition of learning on the bandstand.

Live and in-person, we present the Mingus Dynasty and Grammy-winning Mingus Big Band at The Django in a two-night celebration of the 14th Annual Charles Mingus Festival and Centennial Year of Great American Composer, Charles Mingus!
