Alex N. plays all MBB trumpet parts, but usually gets the second book.

Tatum Greenblatt
With charm and style, you'd be hard pressed to find a more versatile trumpet player. Named by Wynton Marsalis as one of his favorite up-and-coming trumpeters, He's a regular with Mingus Big Band, Richard Bona, Jazz at Lincoln Center; he was integral to the Broadway orchestra for Tony-winning "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical", and serves on faculty at The Juilliard School, Rutgers University, and at JALC. He is a compassionate educator and polished professional in high demand. Tatum plays all MBB trumpet books.

Philip Harper
"Jazz Music -- music of youth, music of love which creates a heart of truth" ... Philip Harper is an embodiment of music, a sound to be savored. Hailing from a musical family, he studied with Jackie McLean, and performed with Benny Golson, Etta Jones, Harry "Sweets" Edison, and Cedar Walton. Most notably he was a member of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers in the 80's, with whom he made several live recordings. With his brother Winard, their ensemble The Harper Brothers toured worldwide and saw great success with releases on Verve. As a beloved mentor he's cultured many young musicians, generously opening paths with knowledge and insight for future minds of music. Philip is a mainstay voice on the MBB third trumpet book.
