We are happy to announce the 16th Annual Charles Mingus Festival and High School Competition which will take place Feb 16-19, 2024.

Again this year along with the usual fantastic big bands and school-based combos, we are inviting any combos of 2 musicians or larger, including those that are self-directed.

PLEASE HELP US PASS ALONG to high school musicians, they may be able to participate whether they have a school band or not.

Also to further increase participation and diversity, we are pleased to announce the Sue Mingus Memorial Fund. Entry fee waivers and travel stipends are available on a limited basis.
